CLEAN IT! [ORGANIZATION]

"My house is clean enough to be healthy... dirty enough to be happy." There are as many ways to clean as there are people. The key is to find what works in your home. There are many tips and tricks to help make cleaning easier on the entire family. I'm a firm believer that a home shared with others is a home that should have shared responsibilities in the cleaning and upkeep of the home. Granted, some duties are best suited to a more experienced hand, but others can be taught to the young, older siblings can teach younger siblings, and spouses can pitch in (taking into account those who work outside the home and other factors). Charts, check-lists, and calendars can help organize cleaning efforts and make sure everyone knows what their responsibility is. It can also help make sure something isn't missed for days/weeks/months on end and then becomes a major project instead of a much easier maintenance chore. Whether the cleaning job is big or small, one quick online search and you can often find some amazing tips and tricks to make the job easier. Another rewarding search would be on how to make your own cleaners from safe, non-toxic household products. It saves money and is better for you and your family's health. There are also many products on the market today that can aid in the ease in which a particular job is done. Figuring out what works for you and your home is half the battle.
